How to Keep me Healthy:
Here are several tips on
how to keep me healthy!
1.
Feed
me a healthy, balanced diet! (See What I like to eat!)
2.
Help
me to get plenty of rest!
a.
I
need at least 12 hours of rest, in my cage, covered up, in a relatively
quiet place, everyday!
b.
I
need a few “breaks” during the day! I
love kids, but if I’m played with constantly, I get tired!
3.
Give me
plenty of fresh water! I can get
dehydrated very quickly! (I’m
not very big, you know!) I’m used to
filtered water, though I’m not really picky!

4.
Please
clean out my food and water cups every day so that bad bacteria can’t grow in
them! And it’s a good idea to sterilize
my food and water cups once a week. You
can run them through the dishwasher if you like!
5.
Because
I love to eat ANYTHING, you will have to be careful what you give me, ‘cause
there are some foods that aren’t good for me!
